Biography

Timothy Chalmer Knox, 39, of Waynesboro passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Born Thursday, August 20, 1970 he was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He was the owner and operator of Brown Exterminator Company. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, being outdoors, the beach, playing guitar and cooking. Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Shannon Knox; daughter, Kayla McKenzie Knox; mother, Linda Webster Jackson; father, Cliffton B. Knox and step mother Barrie Ann Knox; brothers, Kevin Paul Knox and wife Molly, Bryan Vaughn Knox and wife Jen and 2-E Knox, and fiancé Jaya; sisters, Molly Knox Sharp and husband Mike and Little Barrie Knox; nieces and nephews, Ben, Hannah, Jacob, Sarah, Emma, Henry Knox and Sonny Sharp; as well as mother-in-law Cara Pelfrey.
A celebration of his life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main Street.
Memorial contributions may be made sent to Shannon Knox, 1021 Ladd Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980 to establish a trust fund for their daughter Kayla Knox.
