Biography

Brenda Lou Bower Ham, 70, of Raphine passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 at her residence.
Born Sunday, January 14, 1940 in Greenville, VA she was the daughter of the late Clarence O’Dell and Dorothy (Harris) Bower.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Kevin Ham and three brothers, Gene Bower, Farrell Bower and Steven Bower.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl Riley and husband Thomas; son, Joey Ham and wife Marilyn; sisters, Barbara Campbell and Stella Campbell and husband William; grandchildren, Tonya Ham, Zeb Riley, Jason Ham and Nathan Ham; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Pines Chapel Presbyterian Church with Pastor Isca Mitchell officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Thomas Riley, Zeb Riley, William Campbell, Michael Campbell, David Campbell, Brian Campbell and Mark Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Bower, Fred Bower and Larry Harris.
The family will be receiving friends from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairfield First Aid Crew, P.O. Box 136, Fairfield, VA 24435.
