Biography
Shirley Ann Baylor Garber, 84, of Ridgecrest Apartments, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Augusta Health.
Born April 12, 1925 in Staunton, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ethel Craig Baylor.
Mrs. Garber retired from the former Leggett Department Store of Staunton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Malcolm Garber, and a daughter, Brenda Kay Garber.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Ralston and her husband George of Verona, a son, Charles Garber and his wife Ann of Verona, a sister, Doris Curry and her husband Gene of Mt. Sidney, four grandchildren, Rachele Clatterbaugh and her husband Curtis, Jason Ralston and his wife Maria, Brittany Hanger, Derek Horn, two great-grandchildren, Tobias Ralston and Rhegan Horn.
At her request, her body will be cremated and there will be no services.
The family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter, 896 Rife’s Ford Road, Verona, and also at the residence of her son, 50 River View Drive, Verona, at any time.
