Emory Carroll Clatterbaugh, 89, of Waynesboro, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Augusta Health, Fishersville.
Born July 8, 1920, in Virginia, he was a son of the late John and Cloe (Hess) Clatterbaugh. After high school he joined the United States Army, and was honorably discharged in 1952. Emory was employed with DuPont, and after 38 years of service he retired as a Laboratory Technician.
He is survived by his two sons, Curtis Lee Clatterbaugh, of Waynesboro, and Emory Carroll Clatterbaugh, II, of Monroeville, AL.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M., on Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Emory’s residence, 38 Old Tower Lane, Waynesboro, VA, 22980.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes & Crematory.
