Biography

David Wesley Hodge, Sr., 54, of Waynesboro, passed away Sunday evening, March 7, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He was born on Monday, April 25, 1955 to the late Charles Arthur and Helen Fitzgerald Hodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hobert and Elizabeth Hodge and James and Evie Fitzgerald.
Survivors include his children David Wesley Hodge, Jr. and his son Dillan of Painesville, OH, Ashley Hodge and her daughter, Emily Payton Hodge of Mentor, OH, brother, Stan Hodge and his wife Suzy, of Waynesboro, sister, Teresa Morehead and her husband Billy, of Lewistown, PA, his life companion, Pam Fitzgerald of Waynesboro, stepmother, Charlotte Quick Hodge, of Waynesboro, aunt, Joyce Bagby and her husband Steve of Kernersville, NC, 15 nieces and nephews, and many other friends.
He loved fishing, hunting, playing guitar, singing and cooking. He also enjoyed drawing and writing and was not afraid to “tell you like it was.”
A celebration of life service will be conducted at Crossroads Baptist Church in Fishersville, on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 6:00 P.M., with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating. A visitation will follow the service.
