Life Legacy
Dorothy Mae “Dot” Romaine, 76, of Lyndhurst passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Augusta Health.
She was born August 26, 1933 in Austin, Texas, daughter of the late Uno and Mabel Josephine Stromquist Arnhamn.
Dot was a school bus driver for Augusta County for over 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grand child were the love of her life.
He is survived by her husband, John D. Romaine; one daughter, Kathy Romaine Marshall and her husband Danny of Waynesboro; one son, Larry W. Romaine and his wife, Joan of West Chester, PA; four grandchildren, Tyler and Zach Romaine, Bryan Romaine and his wife Avery and Danielle Marshall; one great-grandchild, Alice Dorothy Romaine; one brother, Marvin Arnahmn and his wife, Dorothy of Manor, TX; two nephews, Douglas and Stanley Armhamn of Manor, TX. She also leaves behind a special friend, Mary Campbell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 24, 2010 in the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory with Pastor Earl Monroe officiating.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 P.M. Friday at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro and other times at the residence of her daughter, Kathy Marshall, 88 Abner Lane, Waynesboro.
