Biography

Katherine Lucille Rose Billings, 87, a resident of Augusta Nursing and Rehab Center died Monday night, July 26, 2010 at the center.
She was born March 19, 1923 in Mercer County, WVA, daughter of the late Samuel and Nannie Mae Thomas Rose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Riley Billings in 1992; one son, Rodney Wayne Billings; a granddaughter, Charity Billings; two brothers, Meril Ford Rose and Richard Rose.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Wingard and Joanne Griggs, both of Waynesboro; five sons, Vernie Billings of WVA, Samuel Walter Billings of Buena Vista, Hank L. Billings of Waynesboro, Cliff V. Billings of Stuarts Draft and Kenny E. Billings of Raphine and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Bohlmann officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Roger Dale Billings, Boyd Lambert, Tony Fox, Eric Wingard, Junior Billings and his son, little Ronnie Billings.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Stuarts Draft.
